Seevetal is a small town south of Hamburg ( 20 Minutes ) with a nice Musichall called "BURG SEEVETAL" We have room for 500 People. We mostly present 3 Groups or a Top Act and another german Group.

Votre musique est universelle, car elle dépasse largement les confins de la musique celtique.

I met Raquel and Rudy playing in Quimper and Lorient, in the summer 1992: accordion and nickelarpa, a strange but astonishing and very effective sound. I bought all or their tapes (no CDs at that time) and listened to their music during all these years, always loving it. "Mr.Malone", a Carolan piece from "1990", is one of the very few tunes in my life that i could never do without.

Depuis j'ai acheté vos CD, ils sont magnifiques et très originaux. La meilleure musique celtique actuelle !! Je les conseille à tous les amateurs d'authenticité celtique (et non des éternels airs pseudo-irlandais pour touristes). Je chantonne "Lord Gregory" perchée sur des falaises écossaises, en espérant tomber sur vous dans un pub un jour ! Qui sait ? Je rêve de vous écouter au Stromness Hotel au Isles of Orkney... Ambiance garantie.

J'aimerai apprendre la guitare irish et j'aurais voulu savoir en quel accordage travaillez vous(DADGBE, DADGAD ??)
Je ne sais pas vraiment par quoi commencer, je joue depuis longtemps de la musique celtique en picking sur du DADGAD, mais je ne connais pas l'univers du trad irlandais.. J'en écoute beaucoup, mes pourriez vous me donner des conseils (accordage, méthode...)

I saw Orion play in Swansea a few years ago and bought 'Orion' [the one with the opening track Lady Gethin] and 'Blue Room' on cassette.
The performance is one of my favourite concerts and the cassettes are two of my favourite albums, and I would love to own both these on CD now.
Can let me know if I can buy these two albums on CD format from the web site and if not where from.

I'm a Toronto freelance journalist doing an article for the Canadian magazine 'Celtic Heritage,'on different cultural influences in Celtic music, and where the instruments actually originally come from (all over the world, if you go back far enough!).
I'm especially interested in your band's use of the nyckelharpa, and would like to speak with you (by e-mail) about this.
I'd like to know some more about the instrument, and why you use it in your music.
Does it have similarities to any other instrument - and does its use in Swedish music have similarities to its sound in 'Irish/Celtic' music?
Look forward to hearing from you, and perhaps we can correspond some more. (I'd be happy also just to hear any general thoughts you have on how many different musical influences can make up a 'Celtic' band.
